Milanese 1 Up Packshot

Milanese '1 Up' Album

"1 Up", the new 6 track mini-album by Milanese is released on 27th September, and is available to preorder in Warpmart now.

Cut onto loud double vinyl and CD, this is 6 tracks of "jungle / garage / ragga / house / techno. Mashed up robot music, basically."

A native Londoner now based in sunny Birmingham Milanese made his debut with the 12" Arcola release ARC06.

If that 12" was a masterful slice of banging 4/4 mainroom techno, "1Up" takes a turn for the grimier side - from the digital dub holocaust of ‘Billy Hologram', jungle audio terror and destruction on ‘So Malleable'; the clash and clatter breakbeats of ‘Flex' plus the occasional vocal eruption.

All in all, guaranteed to scare the living daylights out of pets and any small children within earshot.

Beans 'Down By Law' Pack Shot

Beans 'Down By Law'

The new EP from Beans is out now, featuring all new tracks from the man himself and extra production from Mark Pritchard.

Beans returns with a brilliant new EP on Warp, a genuine progression from the immediate post-APC material and destined for a fruitful life rocking dancefloors around the world.

This EP is given some extra spice with the addition of a brilliant Mark Pritchard produced track 'Bubonic', which draws heavily on Jamaican dancehall riddims for its peculiarly futuristic and bombastic power. The instrumental is a nice addition - this rhythm is crying out for some more versions!
